Chow preps for WB skein

Thesp joins cast of boarding school drama 'Americans'

Actress China Chow has signed to play one of the leads on the WB's summer drama "Young Americans."

Show, from Columbia TriStar and Mandalay TV, revolves around a New England boarding school.

Production begins in early May on the serialized skein, which launches in mid-summer. Coca-Cola is a major sponsor. The drama's creator, Steven Antin, exec produces with Mandalay TV's Joe Voci and Scott Sanders.

Chow's starring in the summer Universal release "Head Over Heels." Chow is repped by Brett Carella of ICM; manager Steven Fenton of Evolution Entertainment; and attorney David Feldman of Bloom-Hergott-Diemer & Cook.
