Lit agent Greenberg joins WMA

Rep ankles ICM after six years

Danny Greenberg has officially left ICM and moved to the William Morris Agency, where he will serve as an agent in the motion picture lit department.

Greenberg moves into his new digs today; it is unclear which of his ICM clients will follow him.

Greenberg -- who follows a wave of ICM defections including Jim Wiatt, Dave Wirtschafter, Amy Ferris, Jenny Fritz and George Freeman -- started in the ICM mailroom in 1994 and was promoted to agent the following year.

As an agent, Greenberg first repped the underlying rights to books and articles, selling such pieces as Marie Brenner's "Vanity Fair" article that inspired Disney's "The Insider."

Moving to the motion pic lit department in 1997, Greenberg has repped such writers as Peter Dexter ("The Paper Boy," "Mulholland Falls"), Gregory Allen Howard ("Remember the Titans"), Nicole Eastman ("The Ugly Truth"), Stuart Hazeldine ("The Mask of the Red Death") and Mark Richard ("Chicago Hope"). He also reps Julia Dahl, the writing trio Jonathan Bernstein, Mark Blackwell and Jim Greer, Sue Kramer and Elizabeth Anderson.

His director clients include Peter Cohen ("Whipped") and Morgan J. Freeman ("Hurricane Streets").

Prior to his six years at ICM, Greenberg worked for two years under Dick Cook in Disney's marketing and distribution division.
