Williams joins Odyssey mag

Net taps former CNN, NBC anchor to host 'Weekly'

Odyssey Network, the joint cable venture between Hallmark Entertainment and the Jim Henson Co., has retooled its weekly news mag, tapping former CNN and NBC news anchor Mary Alice Williams its executive editor and host.

Williams will take the helm of "Odyssey Weekly" starting in April. She'll be charged with investigating current moral, ethical and spiritual issues.

"Mary Alice is ideally suited for her new role with this program," said Odyssey exec VP and general manager Susan Frank. "She brings a wealth of experience and enormous credibility."
