'Ally's' Liu to present, Ortega named choreographer

Set for her first Oscar appearance, "Ally McBeal" co-star Lucy Liu has signed on as a presenter.

In November, Liu will co-topline the pic version of "Charlie's Angels," opposite Cameron Diaz and Drew Barrymore.

And while the kudocast's dance numbers have been nixed for this year, Kenny Ortega has been tapped show choreographer.

Ortega, who last co-directed Barbra Streisand's millennium concert, will consult with the musical talent who will be performing the Acad-nominated songs.

The 72nd annual Academy Awards will be broadcast March 26 on ABC.
