NEW YORK -- DBS provider EchoStar Communications has announced that it plans to add three new Turner nets and a premium movie package from Starz Encore to its Dish network programming lineup.
EchoStar will add TBS' Turner South, Boomerang and CNN/Sports Illustrated to two of its digital-tier packages on April 1. Turner South joins EchoStar Communications' "America's Top 100" package that will be made available to DBS customers in its six Southeastern-state footprint. Boomerang and CNN/SI will join EchoStar's "America's Top 150" digital-tier package. In a separate deal, EchoStar is adding two premium movie packages from Encore Starz Media, including a nine-channel Encore super pack for $10.99 a month.
Dish also announced Wednesday that it will add Speedvision and Outdoor Life to the "Top 150" package.
