Publicists org unveils noms

Brossette, Dektar, Ehrlich, Merrill, Stires vie for Les Mason Award

The Publicists Guild of America has announced five nominees for its Les Mason Award, the top honor it bestows on members.

Candidates for the award, whose winner will be announced March 22 at its luncheon at the Beverly Hills Hotel, are unit publicist Stanley Brossette; Cliff Dektar of the Lippin Group; Henry Ehrlich, Paramount Pictures; video press-kit producer Reba Merrill; and Dennise Stires, Warner Bros.

The org will present six other awards at the luncheon, including lifetime achievement kudos to Roy E. Disney, vice chairman of the Walt Disney Co.
