'Score' one for Brando
Pic would link thesp with De Niro
Norton signed on last week to play a young man who convinces a master thief to pull off one last heist.
Brando would play the vet swindler's fence.
Pic is already pricey because of the fees of De Niro and Norton, and the producers are trying to work out the numbers to include Brando in the equation.
Pic would mark the first time that Brando and De Niro actually work together; they played the same role of Vito Corleone in "The Godfather" saga. Brando played the title character in the original film, while De Niro played Corleone as a young man in "The Godfather: Part II."
Produced by Gary Foster and Lee Rich, "The Score" is financed by Mandalay, which will distribute through Paramount Pictures; Danny Taylor and Kario Salem wrote the script. Filming begins in late April in Montreal.
Brando is repped by CAA.
