Rolling out the same day as the Oscar nomination unveiling Feb. 15, the Academy's displays will drum up buzz for current nominees as well as past Oscar winners inside member stores of the Video Software Dealers Assn.
VSDA members, including Blockbuster Video, Hollywood Video, Video City and West Coast Video, will receive a free "Oscar Night Comes Home" promotional kit featuring a 2000 poster and trivia information, among other items.
The Acad kudocast will be broadcast March 26 from the Los Angeles Shrine Auditorium on ABC.

Univision has reported year-end revenue of $693 million, up 20% over 1998.
The U.S. Hispanic network reported profits of $81 million; excluding special charges in both years, profits rose 120% on a comparable basis.
Univision also said it spent $2.5 million in Internet business startup costs. Its service is expected to launch in the first quarter.
