Paramount Television has tapped former Worldvision exec Kim Schlotman as VP of programming and development for the company's domestic TV division, where she will oversee production of upcoming talker "Dr. Laura." Schlotman will also assist in creating other projects for the arm.
Schlotman served since 1996 as an account exec for Worldvision, which was recently bought by Paramount. Earlier in her career, she held positions ranging from consultant to president of Manor Park Prods.
"Kim brings considerable strengths from her experience in both programming and sales," said Bobbee Gabelmann, exec veep of programming for the Paramount division. "Her creative and production skills will contribute positively to the ongoing success of this division."
