Salter Street will buy back shares

TSE allowing 'LEXX' producer to cancel voting stox

TORONTO -- Salter Street Films plans to buy back and cancel as much as 10% of its outstanding shares on the Toronto Stock Exchange.

The TSE gave the producer of family drama series "Emily of New Moon" and sci-fi series "LEXX" permission to purchase and cancel up to 525,000 voting shares between Dec. 3 and Dec. 22, 2000. Salter currently has 5.8 million subordinate voting shares issued and outstanding.
