ProSieben program director departs

Bauer stepping into post

BERLIN -- Boris Brandt, program director at commercial broadcaster ProSieben, is leaving the network. Ludwig Bauer, ProSieben's head of TV, is to assume Brandt's duties.

"The separation follows a difference in opinion regarding the further development of the broadcaster," the company said in a written statement.

Since the recent takeover of ProSieben by the Kirch Group, there have been unconfirmed rumors that Kirch has been looking to name one head of programming for its three main broadcasters: SAT.1, ProSieben and Kabel 1.
