Kock upped to VP at NBC

Exec to o'see program research

Cathleen Koch has been tapped VP of program research at NBC Television Stations.

Based in New York, Koch will expand NBC's news and programming research operations for its 13 owned- and-operated stations. Koch will also supervise business affairs and strategic research activities. She will report directly to Steve Cagle, VP of programming and creative development.

"Cathy comes to this position with a deep knowledge base of station research, and she has proven to be a valuable member of the NBC10 Philadelphia management team," Cagle said.

Most recently, Koch was director of research at NBC Philadelphia affil WCAU.

Prior to teaming with the net in 1992, Koch worked for more than 10 years within CBS Television Stations' national sales research division. Koch first broke into broadcasting as a copywriting assistant at CBS.
