Granada USA taps Hamm as sr. veep, programming

Hamm will supervise all of Granada's series projects, including the studio's current shows in production -- Showtime's "Beggars and Choosers" and NBC frosh drama "Cold Feet."
Reporting directly to Granada prexy Scott Siegler, Hamm will be based out of Los Angeles. His recruitment to the new position signals an expansion for the studio -- Granada now operates two separate programming and development teams, one headed by Hamm and the other controlled by senior VP of longform programming AntonyRoot.
Other responsibilities for Hamm will include adapting Granada's BBC formatted content to fit the U.S. marketplace and crafting Granada's American series to suit Brit auds.
Most recently, Hamm was senior VP of drama series at Studios USA. Accomplishments for this season, under Hamm's direction, include the development of four new Studios USA-produced programs -- NBC's "Law and Order: Special Victims Unit," the WB's "D.C.," syndie effort "Back to Back Action" and USA Network's "Just Act Normal."
