'Love' finds its way onto A&E

Corbett hosts new docu series

The A&E network has announced a new docu series "Love Chronicles," to be hosted by John Corbett ("Northern Exposure").

In the wake of sister-cabler History Channel's "The History of Sex," "Love Chronicles" will explore the traditions and rituals of courtship using historical, scientific, and sociological approaches.

The series' first installment, "Sexual Chemistry," will premiere Oct. 16 to be followed by "High Fidelity" on Oct. 23.

Slated for Saturdays at 7 p.m., the series is being produced for A&E by Emmy- and Oscar-winning producer Arnold Shapiro.
