Keitel takes a hell of a role

'Nicky' to bring out the Devil for New Line

NEW YORK -- Harvey Keitel has been tapped to play Satan in the Adam Sandler starrer "Little Nicky," the New Line comedy being directed by Steve Brill. Robert Simonds and Jack Giarraputo are producing.

In the special effects-heavy comedy, Keitel will play the Devil, who is trying to groom his son (Sandler) to take over the family business.

Keitel will next be seen alongside Kate Winslet in the Jane Campion-directed "Holy Smoke." He's repped by UTA.
