Eric Handler and Jenny Fritz have joined the William Morris Agency as agents in the motion picture talent and literary departments, respectively.

Both hires had been expected.

Handler joins WMA from DreamWorks, where he worked as a development exec under former production topper Bob Cooper. Handler first worked with Cooper at HBO, then moved with the production exec to TriStar and later DreamWorks. He began his career as a story editor for director John Herzfeld.

Handler will report to Hylda Queally, head of North American motion picture talent at WMA.

Fritz joins WMA from ICM, where she worked as a literary agent in the television department. At WMA, she will focus on motion picture literary clients.

Fritz began her career at ICM in 1994. Before being upped to agent, Fritz served as an assistant to Richard Feldman in the feature literary department and Mark Rossen, former head of TV packaging.
