Mark Sonnenberg has been tapped exec VP of entertainment at pay-per-view network Viewer's Choice.

Prior to Fox, Sonnenberg was exec VP at FX, starting as one of the cabler's founding members. Sonnenberg is credited with developing and acquiring several award-winning shows for the net.

Other past TV stints include serving as exec producer for the "KTLA Morning News," first teaming with the L.A. station in 1988 as director of programming. Sonnenberg also worked five years at ABC, supervising the West Coast division of entertainment program research.
