Spacek preps to sing 'Song'

Thesp to star in Eye telepic

Oscar winner Sissy Spacek will star in the upcoming CBS telepic "Songs in Ordinary Time," based on the bestseller by Mary McGarry Morris. She'll play a vulnerable divorcee who falls under the spell of a dangerous con man and ultimately is forced to re-examine her life. Telepic from Craig Anderson Prods. is set in a New England town in the summer of 1960.

Spacek's recent telepic credits include HBO's "If These Walls Could Talk," ABC's "A Place for Annie" and CBS' "Streets of Laredo."
