Guardian will handle all foreign sales and acquisitions for GLP along with GLP prexy George Litto. Prior to joining GLP, Guardian served as veep of international sales for HBO Enterprises.
Previously Glick worked as a line producer for Universal's "For Richer and Poorer" and "A Simple Wish" as well as "Rocky II" and "Rocky V."
Donohew was formerly veep of business affairs for Warner Bros.' theatrical division and also worked for Lorimar Telepictures Corp., where he was senior veep, worldwide acquisitions.
The first pic on GLP's slate is the Sonnenfeld-Josephson production, "The Crew," a Mafia comedy starring Richard Dreyfuss and Burt Reynolds that recently wrapped production in Miami. Buena Vista will release the film next year in the U.S. and Canada. GLP is also prepping a big screen adaptation of the TV series, "Hawaii Five-O."
With a $250 million financing arrangement through Chase Manhattan Bank, GLP plans to produce and finance a minimum of five pics within two years.
