Par ups Lawenda to ad services sr. VP

Exec to oversee syndie sales

Paramount has upped David Lawenda to senior veep and general sales manager, Paramount Advertiser Services. Lawenda will oversee all aspects of national syndie sales for the inhouse ad sales unit of Par's TV division.

"David is instrumental to our division's continued growth and success," said Marc Hirsch, prexy of the sales unit. "This promotion recognizes his strategic sales expertise and solid managerial abilities."

Previously, Lawenda had served as VP and sales manager of new media at the company. He joined Paramount from Turner Broadcasting Sales in 1994, where he was an account representative.
