Slamdance, Tribeca team up

Screening part of on the road series

The Slamdance Film Festival, which last January celebrated its fifth season in Park City, Utah, will screen three feature films and three shorts on Sept. 18 at the Tribeca Film Center.

The films selected for New York showing -- part of a series called Slamdance on the Road that has included visits to such cities as Cannes, Stockholm, Los Angeles, Baltimore, and Washington, D.C. -- were primarily made by East Coast-based filmmakers.

The three features to be screened in Tribeca are Jonathan Berman's documentary "My Friend Paul." Carter B. Smith and Kevon Ford's rock documentary "Three Days" and Adam Abraham's comedy "Man of the Century," which Fine Line Features will release this fall.
