The deal, which insiders said approached $1 million, gives the Gotham-based Famous rights to tunes on the band's recent "No Exit" album and future discs.
The Beyond Records disc has sold more than 350,000 copies since its bow last year, led by the hit single "Maria."
The popular single, penned by Jimmy Destri, has hit No. 1 in many international outposts and has been used in numerous TV spots and shows, which has added sync-license fees to the bottom line in addition to album royalties.
The pact covers tunes penned by Deborah Harry, Chris Stein, Clem Burke and Destri under the band's Dick Johnson Songs publishing banner.
"The international critical and popular reception to Blondie's latest project shows the band's enduring quality," said Ira Jaffe, prexy of Famous, a unit of Viacom's Paramount Pictures.
In the past 16 months, the normally sleepy Famous has been stepping to the dealmaking plate and landing key talent. It has recently inked deals with jazz musicians/producers and GRP Records founders Dave Grusin and Larry Rose; chart-topping rapper Eminem and songwriter-producer Montell Jordan.
Blondie, which is among a handful of acts who have had No. 1 hits in each of the past three decades, is headlining a world tour through November.
