NEW YORK -- Gotham-based indie the Shooting Gallery is building its arsenal, adding a commercial video division to its already lucrative Manhattan-based below-the-line production facility This Gun for Hire.

Former Propaganda Films production topper Tim Clawson will serve as both president of Gun for Hire Commercial Video, overseeing the commercial and musicvideo production service, and exec veep of Gun for Hire Films. In the latter role, he'll spearhead the creation of This Gun for Hire facilities in other cities worldwide.

"Tim Clawson represents a valuable asset in our expansion of the Gun for Hire production services and facilities banner," said TSG prexy and chief financial officer Steve Carlis. "With Tim's involvement, Gun for Hire will provide the physical production services which are necessary to support below-the-line personnel across all ranges of media."

As Propaganda's production topper for the last 11 years, Clawson handled labor relations and oversaw physical production for more than 30 movies and over 2,500 commercials and musicvideos.
