KTVK Phoenix may go to Belo

$360 million pricetag for corp's 21st station

The A.H. Belo Corp. is close to a deal to buy indie TV station KTVK Phoenix for more than $360 million.

Dallas-based Belo already owns 20 stations, mostly Big Three network affils, which cover about 14% of U.S. TV households. Reps for Belo and KTVK's current owner, Phoenix-based Media America, could not be reached for comment Wednesday.

Phoenix is the nation's 17th largest TV market.
