Lloyd Webber reprises Kuhn

Former P'gram prexy now advising composer

LONDON -- Michael Kuhn, former president of Polygram Filmed Entertainment, has resurfaced in London as an adviser to composer Andrew Lloyd Webber.

Kuhn has taken the post of senior adviser to the film division of Lloyd Webber's Really Useful Group.

He will be responsible for coordinating and developing the company's movie projects, including "Phantom of the Opera," "Aspects of Love" and an animated version of "Joseph & the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat."

This follows the conclusion earlier this week of Lloyd Webber's deal to buy back the 30% stake in RUG that Seagram had acquired as a consequence of its Polygram takeover.

Lloyd Webber commented, "This means that the Really Useful Group is in control of its own destiny and can move forward on projects like the film versions of 'Phantom of the Opera' and 'Aspects of Love.' "
