Yahoo! tunes to Launch news

Music section to feature online interactive content

Online music outfit Launch Media has inked a deal with Yahoo! to be featured on the portal powerhouse's customized music site.

As part of the co-branding revenue-sharing pact, visitors to Yahoo! will be able to access Launch's interactive interviews, music news, album reviews, concert reviews, music videos and other features. Company also produces a CD-ROM-based entertainment magazine sent to 275,000 subscribers.

Music enthusiasts on Yahoo! will be able to customize their My Yahoo! page to include news from Launch.

The Santa Monica-based company has been busy in the last few months, inking deals to appear on services run by Intel, Road Runner and NBC.
