Parker to helm from Sayles script

Pic's based on the novel by Davide Ferrario, set in Rome shortly after World War II when American, communist and fascist forces are jockeying for power. Story focuses on the character of Orson Welles, who is plunged into a murder investigation while filming at Cinecitta Studios.
