Promotion, known as Tune in to Kids and Family Week 3, was assembled by Fox Family topper Rich Cronin, Nickelodeon prexy Herb Scannell and Rainbow Media chief Josh Sapan, who jointly chaired an executive steering committee.
Participating cable networks will televise at least one half-hour of family, children's and educational programming from 7-10 p.m. at least one day during the week. Most networks will exceed that minimum considerably.
Kids and Family Week will kick off with the 30-minute special "Just Think," focusing on the power of words, symbols and actions in relation to multiculturalism, diversity, tolerance and race relations.
