Trimark pacts for Euro 'Delivery'

Two Independent sells road pic, inks 1st-look deal

CANNES -- Trimark Pictures has inked a deal with Dutch production company Two Independent for worldwide rights outside of Benelux for European road movie "The Delivery."

The film is set to open theatrically with Warner Bros. in Holland in early September.

"The film is young, fresh and hip, and has some nice marketing elements. That's what we're looking for," Trimark senior vice president international Sergei Yershov told Daily Variety.

Trimark will begin this summer positioning the pic on the fest circuit and gearing up for a fall distribution campaign, he added. The tale of two young men caught up in international espionage while delivering a stash of drugs from Amsterdam to Barcelona is produced by Two Independent's Thijs Bayens and Reine.

Deal includes a first look at Two Independent's next two projects.
