Cora, who has been with the Walt Disney Co. for more than 40 years, formed Disneyland Intl. in 1979. As prexy, he was responsible for managing Disney's relationship with Oriental Land Co. Ltd., owner and operator of Tokyo Disneyland, and has managed the development of Tokyo DisneySea. Cora also played a key role in the development of Disneyland Paris, serving as its exec VP and chief operating officer from 1986-1992.
The prexy post will be filled by Jim Thomas, who will be directly responsible for the daily operations of Tokyo Disney Resort teams at Disneyland Intl., Walt Disney Attractions Japan and Walt Disney Imagineering. He will report to Cora and Ken Wong, Walt Disney Imagineering prexy.
