Joret sr. VP of new WB unit
Exec to head up worldwide publicity
Joret, previously VP of worldwide public relations/publicity and special projects, will helm the development of Warner Bros.' live entertainment shows, adding to her current responsibilities as head of public relations and publicity for the company's studio stores and licensing department.
"Karine has been with Warner Bros. Consumer Products for over 10 years, where she has made a significant contribution to our growth and success," said Warner Bros. worldwide consumer products prexy Dan Romanelli.
Past projects under Joret's direction include launching grand openings of Warner Bros. studio stores in New York, London, Germany, Hong Kong and Japan. She also worked on the merchandising, marketing and publicity campaigns for all four "Batman" films and pic "Space Jam."
Before joining Warner Bros. in 1988 as a marketing administrator, Joret worked at 20th Century Fox in both its theatrical and feature film marketing and publicity departments. She got her professional start as an advertising staff assistant for Revlon.
