Solomon to Lobell sr. VP

Exec to oversee all phases of prod'n

Susan Solomon, formerly with U-based Joseph Singer Entertainment, has been tapped senior veep of production for Mike Lobell Prods.

In her new post, Solomon is to work closely with Lobell and producer Julie Bergman Sender in every phase of the company's development and production projects.

"I am thrilled to have Susan become part of my company. Her experience and passion are a winning combination," Lobell said.

Solomon added, " I look forward to returning to Universal Pictures and working with the studios' talented executive team."

While at Universal-based Joseph Singer, Solomon steered development of the pics "Dante's Peak" and "Dr. Dolittle."

Solomon was also veep of creative affairs and production at Neufeld/Rheme's Prelude Pictures, and got her industry break in 1991 at Arnold Kopelson Prods.
