C-W, '70s' team ink deal

Scribes get rich 2-year deal

The Carsey-Werner Co. has inked a two-year, multimillion-dollar deal with Joshua Sternin and Jeff Ventimilia, who will executive produce Fox's "That '70s Show" next season.

The pact also calls for them to develop new series for Carsey-Werner.

"That '70s Show" is Fox's only remaining live-action comedy, and it has steadily grown this season Sundays at 8:30 p.m. Sternin and Ventimilia served as co-executive producers on "That '70s Show" this year.

Their previous writing credits include "The Critic," "The Simpsons," "Murphy Brown" and "3rd Rock From the Sun."

Their deal was brokered by Matt Solo at ICM and attorney Jared Levine.
