Strickland's publicist confirmed the death, and Warner Bros. TV said production on the NBC sitcom has been shut down. Strickland, who played Todd on "Suddenly Susan," also appeared in the DreamWorks feature "Forces of Nature."
"We are deeply saddened by this tragic loss, and our hearts and sympathy are with David's family and friends," Warner Bros. said in a statement.
