Bloomberg to air Peacock weather

Forecast is clear for cross-promotional deal

Bloomberg Radio and WNBC have inked a deal that gives the Gotham biznews station regular access to the Peacock flagship's weather talent.

WNBC forecasters Janice Huff, Chris Cimino and John Marshall will provide weather updates which will be heard up to six times per hour on the AM station. Reports will begin Monday.

Deal is not Bloomberg's first partnership with a Gotham TV station. WCBS currently airs financial news updates from Bloomberg's overseas reporters during the Eye-owned station's morning, noon and 11 p.m. newscasts.

No cash is involved in the WNBC-Bloomberg arrangement, according to a Bloomberg spokeswoman, who labeled the deal "strictly cross-promotional."
