The group's Awards of Excellence were given to DreamWorks' "The Prince of Egypt," Columbia Tristar's "Madeline," Disney's "The Parent Trap" and Par/Nickelodeon Films' "The Rugrat Movie."
Hosted by FAB president Elayne Blythe and radio personality Dick Spangler, the event also honored indie and video features, TV specials, music, and educational and instructional products.
Mary L. Nicklin, a longtime FAB review chairwoman, received a special award for her dedicated service.
Founded in 1975, FAB recognizes and promotes excellence in entertainment and educational products for children and families.
