Prior to joining Mattel, Piccus was a business and legal affairs attorney at the recently liquidated Virgin Interactive Entertainment.

Susan Blond Inc. has opened a Los Angeles office and has appointed Lisa Vega senior director of publicity. Vega will oversee West Coast activities for the company's clients.
Previously, Vega was head of West Coast publicity at Wenner Media and a senior account exec at Scoop Marketing where she headed media campaigns.
Lisa San Miguel has also been appointed as publicity coordinator to assist in the company's West Coast operations.
