PGA announces Golden Laurels

Hanks, Farrellys, Ross, Carter receive producing nods

Tom Hanks, the Farrelly brothers, Gary Ross and Chris Carter will be honored at the Producers Guild of America's 10th annual Golden Laurel Awards on March 3.

Hanks' prize, inspired by his producing chores on "From the Earth to the Moon," is for most promising emergent TV producer.

The Todd-AO Nova Award, which recognizes the most promising film producers, goes to Bobby and Peter Farrelly for "There's Something About Mary."

Ross, for "Pleasantville," and Carter, for "The X-Files" and "Millennium," will receive the Vision Award, honoring artistic achievement in film and television productions.

Awards will be given at the Century Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles.
