'Sinatra' opens Paley fest

Fest salutes 'rich and diverse programming'

The Museum of Television & Radio's 16th annual William S. Paley Television Festival, which runs March 2-16, will open with the rare Frank Sinatra television special, "This Is Sinatra!"

Never before aired in the U.S., the 1962 British special will be followed by tributes to "Felicity," "The Twilight Zone," "Everybody Loves Raymond," "Sports Night," "The Ben Stiller Show," "A Salute to Carl Reiner," "Moesha," "thirtysomething," "Late Night with Conan O'Brien," "L.A. Law," "NewsRadio" and "The Jeffersons."

Special guests will include the casts and crew of each featured show.

The festival, named for William S. Paley, founder of both the museum and CBS, is a salute to television's "rich and diverse programming." All Paley fest events will take place in the Directors Guild of America auditorium in Los Angeles.
