Each weekday night, North and Alksne will tackle key issues ranging from news to politics to pop culture -- providing spirited and opposing points of view.
"Equal Time" will be broadcast live from Washington, Mondays through Thursdays, 8 p.m.-8:30 p.m. (ET), and on Fridays, 8 p.m.-9 p.m.
MSNBC's weekend version of "Equal Time" will continue to be co-hosted by Bay Buchanan and Lawrence O'Donnell live from Washington on Saturdays at 8 p.m. (ET).
"Equal Time" was originally created for NBC's cable web CNBC before MSNBC was created. The show moved to MSNBC in the mid-'90s.
