Infinity board adds Sherman

Bloomingdale's prexy brings experience a-board

NEW YORK -- Infinity Broadcasting Corp., the radio and outdoor advertising subsidiary of CBS Corp., has named Bloomingdale's president and chief operating officer Jeffrey Sherman to its board of directors.

Sherman had served on Infinity Broadcasting's board before its 1996 acquisition by Westinghouse, which later changed its name to CBS Corp.

Infinity, which remains 83% owned by CBS after its partial spinoff last December, comprises more than 160 radio stations and outdoor ad business TDI.
