Intermedia in Scandi

Company, Svensk Filmindustri ink output deal

LONDON -- Intermedia Films has signed an output deal for its entire slate with Svensk Filmindustri in Scandinavia.

The deal includes such upcoming Intermedia titles as Doug McGrath's "Company Man," Kenneth Branagh's "Love's La-bour's Lost" and the British comedies "Blow Dry" and "Whatever Happened to Harold Smith?"

Rasmus Ramstead, newly promoted to president of Svensk Filmindustri, said, "Intermedia has a new, strong and powerful lineup that will further strengthen our position as the leading film distributor in Scandinavia."

Guy East, co-chairman of Intermedia, said, "Scandinavia is a very important market to us, and we know that (SF's) marketing and distribution expertise will ensure our films receive the best possible release."
