Christopher to give Oscar his look

Production designer tapped for 12th telecast

The look of the Academy Awards will be created for the 12th time by production designer Roy Christopher.

Christopher has received a total of 29 Emmy nominations; eleven were for his work on Oscar telecasts, for which he won four times. He's currently working on the sitcoms "Frasier" and "Becker."

The Academy Awards will be held Sunday, March 21 at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion and will be broadcast live on ABC starting at 5:30 p.m.
