Exec Shuffle

Dennis Dunphy has been upped from Midwest manager, advertiser sales to VP, sales and marketing for the central region of Columbia TriStar Television Distribution.

Based in Chicago, Dunphy will continue to be in charge of national ad sales throughout the central region, including Chicago, Cincinnati, Dallas, Detroit, Kansas City, Minneapolis and St. Louis.

Before joining Col TriStar, Dunphy served four years as national account exec for Discovery Communications, selling ad time for Discovery Channel and the Learning Channel.

Fox Family Worldwide has upped Adam Chesnoff to VP of business development.

In his new position, Chesnoff will explore new business opportunities for the company, as well as monitor the progress of business development with regard to acquisitions, joint ventures, and the worldwide expansion of its international networks.

Prior to joining the company, Chesnoff worked for Columbia Pictures' business affairs division.

David Samuels has been appointed director of creative services for Gotham-based, Indika Entertainment Advertising. In his new position, Samuels will be responsible for establishing a Los Angeles division, and working to expand the company's client base and range of services.

He joins Indika from the creative advertising department at Columbia TriStar Motion Picture Group.

Arlene Chernenko has been upped to divisional VP, SE Distribution Inc., a Scholastic Entertainment company. In her new position Chernenko will be responsible for selling all SE Distribution consumer products as well as overseeing the distribution of books on non-retail outlets.

Chernenko has been with the company since 1984.
