The WB Television Network has tapped Cris Chavarria as director of on-air promotion, and Maureen Milmore has been named director of production for the net.
In his new position Chavarria will oversee the creative development of television, radio and print production. He joins WB from KGTV in San Diego, where he served as director of creative services.
Milmore, who will oversee all aspects of promo production, was previously associate producer with Universal Television and has served as associate producer for HBO Independent Productions.

Jeff Gaspin has been upped to the newly created position of exec VP, programming and production at VH1.
In his new position, Gaspin will be responsible for the channel's overall programming strategies and overseeing VH1's program development, production, acquisition, scheduling, on-air talent, news and studio operations.
Gaspin joined the company in 1996. Prior to that he served five of his 10-year stint at NBC as VP of programming and development for NBC News.

Westwood One has named James Starace VP of affiliate information & compliance.
In his new position, Starace will be responsible for the coordination of all information relevant to affiliation contracts including news, programs, feature, music format and commercial clearance.
Previously, Starace was director of affiliate administration at Unistar Radio Networks.

Milk & Honey Production Services has tapped Michelle Weller as head of production, Prague, and Mark Leemkuil as head of production.
In her new position, Weller will exec produce U.S.-based projects filming in the Czech Republic, while overseeing the Prague office's daily operations.
Leemkuil will oversee all feature, television and commercial projects originating in the U.S. and filming abroad, with emphasis on Latin American productions as well as supervise the company's longform division.
