Odyssey Channel prexy and CEO Margaret Loesch has brought Len Marino into the company as her first new hire.
Marino, who comes to Odyssey from Hallmark Entertainment, has been named VP of creative services and on-air promotion for the cable web.
Odyssey's rebirth
Hallmark and the Jim Henson Co. recently invested $100 million into Odyssey for a combined stake of 45% of the cable network. The religion-oriented channel plans to relaunch in the spring as a broader-based entertainment network.
Marino, who served as director of on-air/marketing promotion for Hallmark and the Kermit Channel, will be responsible for Odyssey's overall creative services.
