Loews ups Pascucci

Exec named senior veep, marketing

NEW YORK -- Marc Pascucci has been promoted to senior vice president of marketing at Loews Cineplex U.S., the division of Loews Cineplex Entertainment that operates 2,000 screens in 22 states.

Loews Cineplex Entertainment was formed by the May 1998 merger of Sony's Loews Theaters unit and the Cineplex Odeon Corp.

Pascucci continues to report to Loews Cineplex U.S. exec veepee Robert Lenihan. He remains responsible for all aspects of marketing for the circuit, including management of all advertising, promotion, public relations and publicity activities. He also will oversee special events, group sales and corporate communications.

Pascucci joined Loews Theaters in 1994 as vice president of advertising and publicity. Prior to that, he was account supervisor for the entertainment group at Solomon Friedman Advertising in Bloomfield Hills, Mich. From 1984 to 1987 Pascucci served as Midwest regional promotion manager for Universal Pictures.
