Par ups Coben to TV veep

Director becomes VP of current programming

Paramount Television Group has upped Marshall Coben to veep of current programming of its network TV division.

Coben, who was director of current programming, will continue to oversee daily creative activities on such series as "Encore! Encore!" for NBC, "Star Trek: Voyager," "Seven Days" and "Clueless" for UPN, "Maggie" for Lifetime and the syndicated "Star Trek: Deep Space Nine."

Prior to working at Par, Coben was an indie producer. From 1989-91, he was a post-production coordinator for Viacom Prods. on such series as "The Father Dowling Mysteries."
