The annual awards show will be taped at the Theater at Madison Square Garden on Oct. 23 and will air on VH1 Oct. 27 at 9 p.m. (ET/PT).
In addition to DeGeneres, Wesley Snipes, Courtney Cox, Salma Hayek, Dylan McDermott and Claudia Schiffer will appear during the shows as celebrity presenters.
Joel Gallen of Tenth Planet Prods will produce.
DeGeneres starred in the ABC sitcom "Ellen," which can now be seen in reruns on Lifetime. DeGeneres will appear in Ron Howard's movie "edTV."
