Rocco joins U's 'Dudley'

Thesp to join Fraser, Parker in live-action pic

Alex Rocco will join Brendan Fraser, Sarah Jessica Parker and Alfred Molina in the cast of Universal's "Dudley Do-Right."

Rocco will play the chief in the Hugh Wilson-helmed bigscreen adaptation of the Jay Ward cartoon.

Rocco won an Emmy for his work on the sitcom "The Famous Teddy Z." Other upcoming film credits include "A Bug's Life" for Disney/Pixar and two indie pics, "Just Write" with Jeremy Piven and "Search for a Homeless Man," directed by Steve Traxler.

Rocco is probably best known for his role as Moe Greene in "The Godfather." His other feature credits include "That Thing You Do" and "Get Shorty."

He was repped in the deal by talent agency Bresler-Kelly & Associates.
